What do we get when talented Irish Singer/Songwriter Gavin James comes together with King of K-Pop (voted on King Choice) Park Jimin? “Nervous” would be the word we used to describe the situation.
Earlier in August, Park Jimin of global boy group BTS went about his usual business on popular streaming platform V Live and sang along to Gavin James’ “Nervous”. This unexpected “collaboration” was picked up by the original singer, and he gave a shoutout to Jimin over Twitter.
V Live, sometimes referred to as V App, is a South Korean live video streaming service that allows celebrities based in the country to broadcast live videos on the internet and live chat with fans.

The unexpected collaboration also sent the K-pop fans wanting to know more about this talented Singer/Songwriter in Gavin James. He ranked 3rd on Melon live search terms, while Nervous came in top after the stream by Jimin.

Gavin James is an Irish singer/songwriter who has tasted success with a platinum-selling debut album, and headlining sold out arena tours to an audience of 15,000, as well as supporting Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith along the way.
While his profile has been growing organically, the song received a boost and became an instant hit with the BTS army with over 525k views, 110k likes and 33k RTs on Gavin’s tweet to BTS. Off his debut album ‘Bitter Pill‘, the song has amassed over 250 million streams collectively on Spotify. Gavin will be performing in Manila (Philippines) on Oct 4th and in South Korea on Oct 12th.
