D .O. (Doh Kyung Soo) returned to Singapore after a year, this time bringing his first-ever solo concert! Fans who attended his DOH KYUNG SOO ASIA FAN CONCERT TOUR “BLOOM” IN SINGAPORE last year would definitely still remember the fun and goofy side he showed on stage. That same charm was still there, but this time, he also showed just how much he’s grown as a performer. At his 2025 DOH KYUNG SOO ASIA CONCERT TOUR <DO it! in Singapore>, D.O. impressed with his calm stage presence and smooth, velvety vocals.
Since his last visit, D.O. lamented on missing the good weather here as well as the warm cheers of his fans. No concert is complete without talks about the local delicacies, as D.O. talked about not being able to enjoy the food here yet due to his busy schedule with rehearsing and preparing for the concert. He jokingly shared on how he was looking forward after the show to go on a “food fight” with the all-famous Chilli Crab and Black Pepper Crab (and true enough he was spotted indulging himself in the crab delicacies donned in the crab restaurant’s apron).
There are definitely no doubts on D.O’s. vocal talent as he brought the fans through a roller coaster ride through his fast-paced songs like “Fit” and “Sing Along”, or sweet ballads like “It’s Okay”. D.O. even dedicated a song segment to his fans, sharing how he would like to convey his words through the song lyrics of “That’s Okay”, “I’ll Be There” and “Draw My Path”. The efforts to connect with his fans were even demonstrated through the English lyrics provided on screen, allowing fans to connect with him even through the language differences. Asides from the amazing performance put on by D.O. through the night, a huge contribution to the success of the show was also his live band, cheekingly known as the “DO-per Band (D.O. Perfect Band).
D.O. made sure to constantly acknowledge the unwavering support from his fans, especially during the special fan video and fan banner segment. He jokingly teased the fans in the fan video over his sports ability in cycling and badminton, and constantly interacted with the crowd, which appears to consist of not just young fans but also their parents as well.
With the success of his first solo concert in Singapore, we definitely look forward to seeing D.O. returning to our sunny island in the future, hopefully with even wider discography under his belt.
