FNC Entertainment’s newest 5th-generation K-pop boy group, AMPERS&ONE, held their inaugural overseas fan meeting, ‘&Dear. My First _’, in Singapore on January 10, 2025, at the Gateway Theatre. This event was their only stop in Southeast Asia for the tour.
Despite the heavy rain, their devoted fans – known as ANDEAR, enthusiastically cheered as the group took the stage, starting the fan meeting with a classroom-themed introduction. The emcee introduced each member by doing a roll call for the “students”. First up was the “Integrated K-Pop Class” segment, where members acted out keywords related to their fandom, song titles and Singapore attractions while their teammates guessed. This was followed by energetic performances of ‘Sheesh’, ‘Over The Moon’ and ‘He + She = We’.
After their first set, AMPERS&ONE officially greeted their Singaporean fans and delighted the audience with a cover of WeiBird’s Mandopop hit, ‘女孩’, before performing their debut track, ‘On And On’. The fan meeting also took a nostalgic turn with a VCR recalling their days from Boys Planet when they performed familiar covers, sparking excitement among fans.
In addition to performing their own songs, the group thrilled the audience with covers of TXT’s ‘Good Boy Gone Bad’, TWS’ ‘Plot Twist’, and BTS’ ‘Blood Sweat & Tears’.
Fans were also engaged through an O/X Quiz carried out by the emcee, where lucky fans who emerged as the last ones standing each took home an exclusive polaroid after showcasing their knowledge about the group. AMPERS&ONE then read heartfelt fan messages written on post-its before the show, fulfilling requests such as Kamden’s iconic ‘Jelly Noona’.
During the basketball shootout, the members highlighted their individual charms and adorable sides, while performing dance challenges based on their selected styles.
“Since this is our first fan meeting in Singapore, many of you are likely seeing our performances for the first time. We’ll prepare even more stages in the future, so please continue supporting us!”
The group continued with performances of ‘Broken Heart’ and ‘Crazy Stupid Fun’, eventually returning for an encore featuring songs like ‘Sweet & Sour’.
Before concluding the fan meeting, the members expressed heartfelt thanks to their fans for making their first overseas stop so memorable. “Our first overseas fan meeting has started, and I feel that we have started with such excitement and fun. Thank you, everyone! I’ll make sure to return to Singapore – and have chili crab too!”
The Singapore fan meeting wrapped up with a photo session, accompanied by a surprise banner event organized by the fans. The night came to a close with a performance of ‘Fly’. Here’s hoping that AMPERS&ONE will make a return visit soon — and finally get to enjoy some chili crab!
