In the fourteenth year of his solo debut, Yang Yoseop finally made his first solo tour through ‘Fade In’, marking not only a long-awaited comeback to the stage but also his first time visiting Singapore as a soloist. Introducing himself as his fans’ “star”, the HIGHLIGHT vocalist was greeted by loud cheers, setting the tone for an intimate yet theatrical evening where heartfelt interactions and his unmistakable vocals proved exactly why he remains one of K-Pop’s most respected singers.

Making his first appearance on stage in an elegant white suit, Yoseop opened his solo show with a musical theatre-inspired introduction, standing under a single spotlight as his voice filled the venue without any accompanying background music. Framed around a story of the relationship between Yoseop and his fans, the concert unfolded like a theatrical production, with playful narration connecting each chapter of the show. The most memorable scene was during “You Don’t Know” and “Chuck”, where he pretended to answer a phone belonging to a lover before naturally transitioning into the next song through a playful argument. Even his outfit change became part of the performance, as cameras continued following him backstage during “Moonlight”, allowing fans to sing along while watching him remove his coat and touching up in real time.

“Dear Me” and “I’ll Be With You” were the first songs of the night, with Yoseop immediately reminding the audience why he has long been recognised as one of K-pop’s strongest vocalists. He also prepared a special OST medley featuring beloved tracks including “More Than Everything”, “Even Now” and “One in a Million”, a treat for fans who have followed his career through the years. “Brain”, “Caffeine” and “Shine” drew some of the loudest singalongs of the night, as fans enthusiastically joined Yoseop from start to finish. He proceeded to close the main set with his latest title track, “Fade Away”, before returning one last time for “Love Day”, giving fans a fitting end to the night.

Throughout the show, Yoseop endlessly expressed his appreciation for the energy of the local fans. The close bond between the singer and his fans was evident through his constant conversations and spontaneous interactions, from warmly asking if fans knew how much he missed them to responding to their reactions with genuine excitement. Yoseop even recorded a dual-capture video featuring both himself and the fans, promising to upload it on his personal Instagram after the concern.
Aside from his fans, his affection for his fellow HIGHLIGHT members was also clear, as he shared that he would update them about his Singapore trip and jokingly admitted that he wanted to make them jealous after hearing the loud cheers from the crowd.

Having arrived in Singapore just a day before the concert, Yoseop shared how impressed he was by the country’s beautiful skyline, before sweetly adding that his fans looked even more beautiful than the view. He also appeared to have prepared some Singlish phrases for the fans, happily declaring that he felt “shiok” whenever fans cheered loudly and telling them that he also “miss you leh”. Yoseop further revealed that he hoped to film a vlog in Singapore if time permitted, asking fans for suggestions on whether he should do a food mukbang or visit attractions such as Garden by the Bay, drawing plenty of enthusiastic recommendations from the audience.

The concert ended on an emotional note as Yoseop reflected on the period after completing his military service. He shared that during the cold winter months, he never imagined that he would one day stand on the Singapore stage to perform for his fans. Now that reality has sat in for him, Yoseop hoped fans would continue supporting and loving him for a long time. Sharing a note of encouragement for his fans, Yoseop spoke about how everyone experiences moments of helplessness and carries burdens in life, including himself, but expressed his wish that his music could bring comfort and brighten even just a small part of his fans’ day. While he wished no one would face difficult times, he encouraged them to think of him whenever they do encounter such times.
As lavender confetti floated through the venue alongside the gentle lavender scent specially prepared for the finale, Yoseop explained the flower’s meaning of enduring love and waiting. He hoped that it served its purpose as a heartfelt promise that he would return again, hopefully next time alongside his fellow HIGHLIGHT members.
