There may have been “calm” in the title, but there was certainly none in the room! Ten years into her solo journey and nineteen years since Girls’ Generation’s debut, Tiffany Young reunited with Singapore SONEs on 26 September 2026 for her Edge of Calm Tour, held at Arena @ EXPO.

Opening with “Codes”, “Halfway Honest” and “Moment” from her first solo full-length album “Edge of Calm”, Tiffany welcomed the crowd and thanked them for being part of her 10-year solo journey. She was quick to remind everyone that this was their anniversary too, with nineteen years together giving everyone plenty to be grateful for.

Introducing “Edge of Calm”, Tiffany shared that she wanted the album to tell a story that could represent how she and her fans have grown and matured together. Yet, when it came time to perform the song, she admitted, “Every time I sing the ‘Edge of Calm’, I’m clearly not calm.” She encouraged everyone to scream along, reminding the crowd, “we’re here, we made it, we’re all together!”

The set moved between her newer solo work and familiar favourites, including “I Just Wanna Dance” and “Heartbreak Hotel”. Before the latter, Tiffany asked how fans felt hearing it again after so long. She joked that she was supposed to feel sad and heartbroken, but was simply too happy seeing everyone, suggesting that it had become a happy breakup anthem after all these years.

That happiness was evident throughout the show. Tiffany’s powerful vocals were met with an even louder Singapore crowd, and she repeatedly laughed and reminded herself to stay serious during the more emotional moments. She also treated fans to covers of Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful”, Rihanna’s “Diamonds”, Olivia Dean’s “So Easy (To Fall In Love)” and JUNNY’s “Into My Life”. She shared that fans had requested Olivia Dean’s “So Easy (To Fall In Love)” while she was promoting “Summer’s Not Over” earlier this year, making the performance an especially thoughtful addition.

For “Lovers”, her collaboration with JUNNY, Tiffany recalled meeting him while working on the musical “Yumi’s Cells”. She also teased her return as Roxy in “Chicago” this December, joking that her outfit that night even looked a little like the character’s.

The night became more sentimental during “Summer’s Not Over”, when Tiffany received a fan banner reading, “With you, each moment through the calm and the chaos”. She tried not to cry, joking that she still had to sing, but the emotion was clear as she reflected on the nineteen years they had shared.

She later surprised everyone with a short, unplanned performance of Girls’ Generation‘s “Sailing”, keeping a promise she had made during soundcheck. With no music playing, fans were treated to a moment that put Tiffany’s stunning vocals completely in the spotlight.

With Girls’ Generation approaching its 20th anniversary next year, Tiffany also shared a little about what the group has been up to. She revealed that the members have been having many meetings and promised they would do their best as “responsible, hardworking women”, jokingly asking fans to pray for them because “Girls’ Generation always needs prayers guys, especially for this next anniversary.” She also said she felt very happy and lucky to have shared the evening with Singapore SONEs.

The concert ended with “Into the New World”, Girls’ Generation’s debut song. Fans sang along, some through tears, while Tiffany and the audience took turns carrying the song. It was a beautiful full-circle moment after an evening centred on both her solo journey and the people who have been there since the beginning.

With pink lightsticks lighting up the venue throughout the night, Tiffany went to each side of the stage before leaving to bow and thank the fans, taking her time to acknowledge everyone. It was a heartfelt end to a night and with Tiffany looking ahead to Girls’ Generation’s “big double decade anniversary” next year, Singapore SONEs will surely be hoping to welcome her, and perhaps the group, back to Singapore.
