The Rose to perform at Main Square Festival in Arras, France

On July, 1st, The Rose will perform at “Main Square Festival”, a french festival happening in Arras, France.

It isn’t the first time that the festival, a major actor of the music stage every summer in France, invites a Korean act. In 2022, they invited the rapper and singer CL for a set and became one of the first festivals in Europe to welcome Korean music. In 2023, they are renewing the experience, this time with The Rose.

The Rose, who started performing as an independant group of buskers, officially debuted in 2017 with the song Sorry. They quickly became mainstream, helping bringing spotlight to the indie scene. In 2022, they created their own label Windfall (a reminder of their busking days). It was a step towards more international schedules for them, bringing to take part in the 2023 edition of Main Square Festival.

Just like with CL in 2022, Main Square Festival is proving that they’re giving a stage to diverse Korean artists. With a programme as eclectic as Maroon 5, Calum Scott, Royal Republic or David Guetta, the inclusion of The Rose shows that the group is efficiently proving the world that music knows no nationalities or boundaries.

They’ll perform in a nearly-sold-out festival, with only a few VIP places remaining. A great opportunity for fans to discover the group in a different setting from the solo concerts they’ve held in Europe until now!
