Apart from the above girl groups, the trend in Taiwan is probably leaning towards individual or solo activities; and there are no shortage of talents from that front. If you find picking up Korean a challenge and prefer somewhere with a lesser language barrier (provided you are speak chinese), then venturing into mandarin pop would suit you equally well.
