31 May 2014, Singapore – In collaboration with Chang Beer, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Nara Thai Cuisine Singapore proudly presented Through Eyes of Us Thais (TEOUT), a photo exhibition showcasing Thailand as seen through the eyes of a local, to more than 100 local media and guests.
Hosted by popular Thai-American actor, host and model, Utt Panichkul, TEOUT was officially launched with an opening address by the Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Singapore Office), Ms. Kanokittika Kritwutikon. Talented Thai photographers Kit Bencharongkul and Rattanachot Srikhongmuang, who captured the stunning showcase of lesser-known picturesque locations in Thailand loved by locals, followed with their appearance onstage to share more about their works. Examples of the impressive locations featured in the showcase include Mu Koh Hong in Krabi, Wat Phu Tok in Nong Khai and the heavenly Sam Pan Boak in Ubon Ratchathani.
Making the event a star-studded affair were Thai celebrities Tata Young, Poyd Treechada, and Mario Maurer, as they shared their favourite destinations in Thailand onstage, much to the delight of screaming fans. Ten lucky Mario Maurer devotees were also thrilled with a once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunity onstage with the Thai-German heart-throb.
TEOUT drew to a close with the exciting TEOUT – Thai Music Showcase, held the same evening at The Coliseum™, where fans enjoyed electrifying performances by Thai sensation Tata Young, Thai rock band Big Ass and the soulful voice of Thanida Thamwimon, better known to supporters as Da Endorphine.
