A little shy yet captivating on stage, Loco brought his magnetic charm to the Capitol Theatre on October 24 2025, for the 2025 LOCO CONCERT: SCRAPS TOUR in SINGAPORE!
Speaking in a mix of Korean and English, Loco warmly welcomed fans to his first solo tour, mentioning that it felt full of heart fluttering first times. He added that the first experiences are always the most memorable and promised to give his very best that night for the Singapore stop.
Performing many of his hit songs, Loco had the crowd fully engaged from the start. During “OPPA”, the audience was on their feet, dancing and shouting “saranghae” throughout the song. Smiling, he mentioned that although Singapore had the smallest crowd of the tour, it had the best energy. When Loco asked if Singapore was in the middle of summer, fans immediately replied that it is always summer. Laughing, he used that as the perfect introduction to “Summer Go Loco”, saying the song fit the city perfectly.

He told fans that he would be holding a concert in Seoul next year with the live band led by Jihye, the bandmaster and keyboardist for the Singapore stop. “If you are in Seoul in January, please come over,” he invited. Loco then took song requests from fans, happily performing favorites including “LIKE WATER”, “You Don’t Know”, and “Love”.
After performing his hit OST “Say Yes” from Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, Loco took a moment to explain how his new character was created in collaboration with Japanese graphic artist VERDY. He asked the audience if they had listened to his album SCRAPS and explained that the album is a collection of songs he had once decided to shelve. The reasons for shelving the songs weren’t particularly significant; sometimes he simply didn’t have confidence in them. After revisiting the songs, he realized how much he truly liked them. This reflection inspired him to release SCRAPS as a statement about rediscovering self-confidence and appreciating ideas that had once been set aside.
“There must be many people like me who lose confidence and throw things away,” he said. “If you are in a similar situation, please have confidence. Every idea that comes from your mind is a jewel.” He explained that the diamonds surrounding the VERDY-designed character represent these precious ideas placed in a trash can, symbolizing creativity that deserves another chance. “Whenever you lose confidence, remember the SCRAPS tour and the jewels in the trash can,” he added. “From that moment on, I decided to have confidence in everything.”

He also said that although he was initially shy to approach VERDY for the favour, he eventually gained the courage and VERDY created the artwork right away. For the SCRAPS music videos, Loco reached out to directors he admired and traveled to places like Paris and Amsterdam to make them happen. “For this tour, I did everything I wanted to do,” he said, drawing cheers from fans.
Throughout the concert, the atmosphere was vibrant and full of energy. Fans jumped and sang along to every song as Loco sprayed water over the crowd and kept the excitement high. At one point, he took off his shirt but shyly asked a staff member to bring it back after the song ended. Laughing, he explained, “This wasn’t part of the plan today. I have had a lot of dinner plans recently. This is purely because of your heat and energy that I took off my shirt!”
He closed the main set with “No Manners”, which sent the crowd into a frenzy as fan chants echoed through the theater.

For the encore, Loco returned to perform songs like “Late Night” and “Still”, with the audience waving in unison throughout the songs. Thanking everyone sincerely, he said “Thank you! I really hope we can meet again.” He also asked fans to look forward to the upcoming Show Me The Money 12, where he will appear as a producer. “I’m not very good at talking, so I don’t know how much I’ll appear on the program,” he joked, making the audience laugh. “But please keep cheering for me. I’ll do my best to find great talent.”
Before leaving the stage, Loco promised, “I’ll try to come back to Singapore again through another tour,” and loudly proclaimed that he still had five minutes, so if anyone had anything they wanted him to sign, they could do it now, causing fans to surge forward to the stage.
Smiling and interactive throughout the evening, Loco made sure the venue was a sea of dancing and cheering fans. We look forward to Loco’s future releases and his next visit to Singapore!
