KIIRAS officially kicks off their career with the release of their debut single “KILL MA BO$$” at 6PM (KST) on the 29th May 2025.
Consisting of six members—leader Lingling, Harin, Kurumi, Kylie, Doyeon, and youngest member Roah—KIIRAS is a global girl group that has already garnered significant attention from fans at home and abroad since the announcement of their debut.
First-Ever Malaysian K-pop Girl Group Member Is Born
Lingling previously gained massive global fandom after finishing second in the pre-voting for Mnet’s I-LAND2: FINAL COUNTDOWN in 2024, showcasing her potential as the next global star even before her debut. By joining KIIRAS, she has also earned the title of the “first Malaysian K-pop girl group member,” raising expectations for what lies ahead. Lingling, who is fluent in Malay, English, Chinese, and Korean, is being hailed as a “language genius,” and the global spotlight is already focused on her and KIIRAS’s future endeavors.
A Distinctive Concept: The ‘5th-Gen Super Hot Rookies’
KIIRAS is set to usher in a new K-pop sensation with their kitschy “cowgirl” concept that sets them apart from conventional idols. Their debut track “KILL MA BO$$” is a pop song based on the traditionally American “country” genre, infused with elements of R&B and hip-hop. The song’s strong “Western” visual imagery, which is currently trending, is expected to leave a powerful impression and establish KIIRAS as trailblazers in the next era of K-pop.
