Singapore, 23 October 2022 – iGet is co-founded by the first and only Singapore K-Pop Group creator Mr. Alan Chan. He was the creator of K-Pop group ‘SKarf’ which consists of Singaporean, Korean and Japanese members. SKarf made their debut in 2012, and had a couple of popular songs in Oh! Dance an Luv Virus. Till date, former Singapore members Tasha and Ferlyn are still active in the Singapore entertainment scene.
It was revealed that moving forward, Mr Alan Chan will be leading the team to relaunch 2 girl K-Pop groups “OhBliss” and “SKarf” in the first half of 2023, followed by a new boy group by the end of 2023. Alan has with him, a team of very experienced executives based in Korea headed by Lee JT, a former Director of SM Entertainment in Korea. Incidentily, JT was also the co-creator of SKarf and OhBliss.
iGet Holdings is an Edutainment-Tech company based in Singapore with offices in Singapore, Korea, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and other parts of Asia. Under its entertainment arm, it focuses on Artiste development & training, concerts & events management, music production & publications, content creation. Apart from the exciting news of the impending comeback of SKarf and OhBliss, iGet will also be venturing into movies and dramas production, with castings to be expected to fill roles fr these productions.
The ambitious group with their wide business coverage, will also be launching KPop tours, training school for aspiring performing arts students (iGet Hagwon), and getting deeply into content creation within its own metaverse.
In other non-KPop news. iGet also takes this opportunity to announce that it has signed an MOU with JP Entertainment and its founder Mr. Jimmy Loh. Jimmy Loh is the Legend of concert promotion who has promoted concerts in Singapore for the last 40 years. Jointly, iGet will bring in Aaron Kwok live in Singapore concert in October 2023 and Kenny G and Kitaro live in Singapore concerts in March and June 2023 respectively.
