Enter the door of no return with Korean horror movie “Guimoon: The Lightless Door”

Upcoming South Korean horror mystery Guimoon: The Lightless Door 《鬼门》 will be opening its door in Singapore cinemas this 23 September 2021.

Starring Kim Kang-woo (The Vanished, 2018), I.O.I’s Kim So-hye (Moonlit Winter, 2019), Lee Jung-hyoung (The Witch, 2018) and Hong Jin-gi (The Battle: Roar to Victory, 2019), this nail-biting thriller brings viewers on a journey where a renowned paranormal investigator explores an abandoned community centre to uncover a mysterious incident involving his mother. At the same time, 3 students film and explore the same deserted building in hopes of winning a horror video contest after hearing about bizarre occurrences happening there.

Synopsis

One night at a secluded community centre, the custodian murdered all the guest lodgers and killed himself. Ever since, on every Old Year’s Night, paranormal events began to take place within the building. Eventually, the centre was shut down and left abandoned for years. Do-jin, a renowned paranormal investigator, had lost his mother to a mysterious incident while she was performing an exorcism at the community centre. Ridden with guilt and grief, Do-jin headed over to the community centre, resolved to uncover the buried secrets. Determined to win a video contest and its prize money, three college students decided to capture a glimpse of the rumoured paranormal events on Old Year’s Night.
