Korean group ATEEZ doesn’t really have to ask: the eyes of European ATINYs and K-Pop fans have been on them for several years now.
Their concerts are always performed in front of full venues, and the show in London on January, 27th was no exception.
On a typical british weather day, the group performed at The O2 Arena. The wind and rain didn’t prevent the fans from wearing concert outfits that were a stroll along the group’s discography.

Upon entering the venue, the stage setup already is a sure telltale that the “TOWARDS THE LIGHT : WILL TO POWER” tour is a big production. A futuristic-looking tower with a big circle on the top of it sits in the middle of the stage. The concert opens on a VCR that sucks you in the group’s lore, but also sheds light on the concert’s storyline.

The into is ensured by B.B Trippin, the faithful crew of dancers ATEEZ are working with on a regular basis. The group then appears in sparkling black outfits and start performing “Crazy Form”, a quite recent release. This choice get the crowd hyped up from the start, dancing and singing along. The second song of the setlist, “Say My Name”, is on the contrary one of the group’s trademark song. Just two songs within the show, the group has newer and older ATINYs vibrating with the same energy.

As the concert goes on, the group skilfully mixes performances and solo intros or dance stages where they display their acting talents. The members get chased by their “enemies” (played by the dancers) and we almost shivered for them, they get caught, they lose their wings… The pirates fighting the kraken, cowboys drinking at the saloon. It looks cinematographic and the circle on stage – the one mentioned previously in this article – is a full character of this movie. It sometimes feels like Big Brother watching us, sometimes wearing a outfit matching the group’s, but it’s always somehow included. There is attention put into every single detail of the show and it seems that for ATEEZ, performing isn’t just about singing and dancing, but about actually telling a story that leaves you speechless.

During the show, fans also get an opportunity to see the members performing solo or as units. ATEEZ is one of the few groups who actually got such songs in their album The World Ep.Fin : Will. Jongho, the group’s maknae, is the only member with a solo song. When “Everything” starts playing, we can see him on the top of stairs, with the circle acting as a snow globe. The singer’s vocals and the song’s nostalgic feelings are a perfect fit and when he exists the stage, we could almost see footsteps forming on the imagary snow.

An other solo song that embodies the theatrical side of the show is the duo performed by Mingi and Yunho. The friends re-enact a memory from their teenage days, when both were unknowingly about to take the same audition to enter KQ Entertainment (ATEEZ’ company). They show us a glimpse of their playful dynamics and unwavering support for each other. Meanwhile, Hongjoong and Seonghwa’s performance is a testimony to the power they hold when they perform together. The song is simply entitled “Matz”, and lets fans see the group’s determination and constant evolution as Seonghwa takes on the position of a rapper. As for the trio composed of San, Wooyoung and Yeosang, they show a sexy and mature side of the members, eliciting cheers and screams from the audience.

As years go by, the group has built a diverse discography. This not only lets them deliver their story, but also helps build a concert setlist with a well-thought rhythm. ATEEZ and their audience are ready to break the wall together with “Guerilla”, and a few songs later they gell all smiles and cute moves with “Dancing Like Butterfly wings”. They cutely interact with the audience on “Wave” and perform a precise choreography on Django. But name any song of the setlist and thre crowd is here, singing along and performing fanchants as if they practiced hours just for this.

Early after debut, ATEEZ quickly established themselves as powerful performers. With each passing tour, they not only confirmed it, but reached further and beyond to bring something innovative and surprising in their performances. The year, the large venues in each city also allow the group to showcase the full extent of their artistry. While chasing and finding their light, they also help the audience find theirs for the duration of the concert, before the encore brings everyone together in both a medley of ATEEZ’ songs and a party that no-one is ready to leave yet.

We’d like to thank KQ Entertainment, AEG and Platform PR for having us at ATEEZ 2025 WORLD TOUR [TOWARDS THE LIGHT : WILL TO POWER] concert.
