DPR Concludes Second Asia Pacific Region Stop of “The Dream Reborn World Tour 2024” in Singapore

“The most important thing is the relationship you build with yourself and that it’s okay to be different.”

The DPR – The Dream Reborn World Tour 2024 first kicked off in Seoul, Korea from 13th July and DPR has toured in America, Europe and the UK. Singapore was their second stop in the Asia Pacific region, with their tour concluding in end December in Hong Kong. Their last concert here was back in 2022, at The Coliseum in Resorts World Sentosa. This time, the DPR crew consisted of DPR ARTIC, DPR CREAM and DPR IAN.

DPR – The Dream Reborn World Tour 2024 in SINGAPORE was held at Singapore EXPO Hall 7 on the evening of 12th December. DPR ARTIC started off with his DJ set, setting the mood with house music and dance beats. He was known with DREAMers (DPR’s fandom), for opening almost all of DPR’s shows at major festivals, such as Head In The Clouds and Coachella. He also recently debuted as an artist back in February this year with his EP album, Kinema. Ending off his set, he showcased his new songs such as ‘Dream’ and ‘Do or Die’.

DPR CREAM took center stage with his intro from his new album “how many drinks?”, followed by ‘test drive’ and ‘uzuz’. Like DPR ARTIC, he also released his first full album back in May with the title track, ‘darling’. DREAMers are no stranger to DPR CREAM, with his participation in most of DPR albums, and all sang along to ‘t’, ‘puberty’ and ‘savage’. At this point, the crowd was geared up and ready for the most awaited performer of the night.

Popular for his theatrical stages and charming presence, it was a no-wonder the crowd screamed in delight when DPR IAN finally took to the stage for his set. Decked in smoky eye make-up, blond hair and black angel wings, DPR IAN opened his stage with ‘Welcome To The Other Side’ and of course, the song that also took social media by storm, ‘Dont Go Insane’. It was also proven difficult for DREAMers to not go insane as DPR IAN’s choreography was addictively sensual for the eyes.

Compared to his previous concert in 2022, DPR IAN had enhanced his performances with dancers and a live band, making a great addition for a full concert experience. DPR IAN also introduced MITO, his alter-ego, and a particular green man to accompany him during his stages. After his cheeky ‘Peanut Butter & Tears’ stage, he switched up to a sexy tune of ‘Violet Crazy’, which he mentioned was his favourite colour.

Not forgetting DREAMers’ beloved hits like ‘So Beautiful’, ‘Mood’ and ‘Dope Lovers’, DPR IAN continued to impress the audience with his flexible vocals. DPR ARTIC and DPR CREAM joined DPR IAN on stage when ‘Ribbon’ came on, further hyping up the crowd. They also dedicated and sang Happy Birthday for anyone whose birthday coincidentally fell on that day.

DPR IAN dropped a spoiler for his upcoming album that will be released next year, by performing an unreleased track, ‘I AM Nobody’.

DPR IAN always has knack for interacting with his fans. Sharing his stories and life advice, conversing with the fans humorously, makes it seem like DPR IAN is just like any normal person. One such example was when he mentioned that he grew up in Australia and asked if anyone else was Australian, one fan screamed “Nobody” in a true Singlish accent. In response, he flawlessly imitated her so well that you would think he is like any other Singaporean.

It was truly an unforgettable night for all DREAMers on that day. Ending off the concert with the members performing ‘Do or Die’ on stage together, the DPR crew wished that their fans had an enjoyable time and hoped to see them again next time.
