After a tough round at the semi-finals, finalists gathered at Wave House for the second leg of the Sentosa DJ Spin Off. Triumphing over seven others, it was DJ Caden who walked away with S$2,000 and the prestigious opportunity to spin at Sentosa’s year-end event dubbed Asia’s biggest countdown beach party.
Judged by local pioneer DJs such as DJ Jense, DJ Funky T and DJ Ollie’Des, the deck was also graced by Singapore’s top youngest DJ and competition ambassador – Charlotte Cheong.
“I’m feeling great. I definitely had fun – my friends came down to support me and I’m really grateful to have come this far. I loved this competition – it’s been by far the best competition I’ve joined. The judges gave comments, which were really helpful because I learnt where I fell short and how to improve. I loved the technical aspects as well – the speakers are good and there was a TV to make sure contestants don’t premix their sets. Everything was good,” shared DJ Caden after he was crowned champion.
