SAF50 at Vivo Socialthon with FLY Entertainment Artistes

In conjunction with the celebrations for SAF’s 50th anniversary, FLY Entertainment conducted an exclusive celebrity-led tour to the SAF50 at Vivo Socialthon on 13th February 2015.
Led by FLY Entertainment Artistes, Patricia Mok, Ebi Shankara and Suhaimi Yusof, the tour brought the attendees through exclusive routes of the exhibits, giving them insights to the 50 years of SAF. Sharing with the attendees some behind the scenes and interesting anecdotes, the celebrity guides definitely spiced up the tour at the SAF50 with their antics and fun persona, keeping the guests entertained throughout the tour.

The highlight of the tour would have to be the experience on the Fast Craft Utility Joy Ride – an armoured landing craft that would be launched from the warship — out into the harbour. It is not every day that you can experience being on a military ship, much less take a ride on it!
Apart from the FCU Joy Ride, attendees also got a chance to tour the Landing Ship Tank – the largest warship in the Singapore Navy – taking a look at the various facilities of the ship, including the bridge and command centre of the ship. Participants also got to learn more about the SAF50 through the exhibits and simulator games that were set up in Vivo City.

saf50 aThe SAF50 at Vivo Socialthon is the first of many upcoming events to celebrate SAF’s 50th Anniversary, and was held at Vivo City from 12th to 15th February 2015.

KAvenyou would like to thank FLY Entertainment for the invite to the celebrity-led tour.
