Choo Sarang, the beloved star from “The Return of Superman” during her younger years, is starring in the currently airing series “My Child’s Private Life”, alongside Yuto, who was also featured in “The Return of Superman”. Choo Sarang is the daughter of mixed martial arts fighter and judoka Choo Sunghoon, and Japanese model Shiho Yano.

Recently, Sarang expressed her deep longing for her late grandfather, who we often saw on “The Return of Superman”. After a scheduled magazine shoot with Yuto, she requested help from the shooting team to take some photos of her wearing a judogi bearing her father’s and grandfather’s names on the sleeves.

Shedding tears while talking about her grandfather and the reason behind choosing the judogi for the shoot, Sarang opened up about how she missed her grandfather and wished she could travel together with him again.

Shiho Yano also shared in an Instagram post that her daughter struggled greatly with her grandfather’s passing and hopefully this was a step towards her coming to terms with it. Reacting to the family montage with his father, Choo Sunghoon was unable to take his eyes off the screen as he expressed his gratefulness that they filmed many memories in “The Return of Superman”.

“When my father passed away, I dressed him in a judo uniform and tied his belt. When my time comes, Sarang will tie it for me.”- Choo Sunghoon
