Several South Korean news sites have reported that actor Kim Joo Hyuk was involved in a tragic car accident, in which his car flipped and caught on fire. He was transferred to the hospital but allegedly succumbed to his severe injuries.
He was best known for his roles in ‘My Wife Got Married’, ‘God of War’ and he recently starred in TvN drama, ‘Argon’. Kim was also a well-loved cast member of KBS variety show, ‘2 Days 1 Night’ before he left in 2015.
His agency has yet to confirm this and has said that they’re looking into the reports.
UPDATE:
An autopsy will be carried out today on Kim Joo Hyuk’s body. The location of his funeral parlour has yet to be decided. The police will also be looking into signs of alcohol and drugs in his blood.
