The annual Asian Television Awards (ATA) will be entering its 20th year this year in 2015, and this time round, the most celebrated event of the year will be held at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, on 3rd December.
If you’re still having second thoughts about attending this prestigious awards ceremony, let KAvenyou tell you why you should not miss this event (and we’re giving out free tickets as well!):
1) SECRET
By now, most of you K-Pop fans should already know that SECRET will be back in Singapore for the third time this year for this awards ceremony. If you already missed seeing them live the previous two times, this is definitely a must-go! For SECRET TIME who cannot get enough of their catchy hits like Shy Boy, Madonna and Starlight Moonlight, this is also your chance!
2) The amazing line-up
Of course, besides SECRET, there is a slew of celebrities that will be gracing this year’s award ceremony. Notable names include Jeff Chang 張信哲, Anggun Cipta Sasmi and JTR, who will be performing at the 20th Asian Television Awards.
Fans of local artistes will also be delighted to know that local sensations like Tosh Zhang, Wang Weiliang and YouTubers of Minah Funk fame, MunahAndHirzi will be attending this year’s ceremony.
We’re even looking forward to the hosts for the night – Max Loong, Stephanie Carrington, Allan Wu and Joey Mead King. With these eyecandies presenting the show, it’ll be hard to pay attention to what they’re saying!
I’m sure there’re more big names that will be attending the event but we’re still waiting for the official announcements in suspense!
3) ATA is the most massive awards event in Singapore this year
Over the 2 nights, there will be over 45 trophies being awarded to the various categories, with each representing one of the finest of each country’s. Check out the impressive nominee list – even Korean favourites like SNL Korea Season 6, Immortal Songs, The Genius Game and Misaeng are shortlisted as well! With such a stunning nominee list, we definitely hope the artiste line-up will be even more stunning as well!
