SINGAPORE, 8 JANUARY 2014 – Lights, Cameras, Pose! 16 models from 12 countries across Asia will be in the running to compete for the title as Asia’s Next Top Model (AsNTM S2) when FOX International Channels (FIC) Asia premieres the second season of the model reality series this Wednesday, 8 January on Star World, Asia’s finest leading female entertainment channel.

Featuring a total of 16 models from 12 countries such as China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam, AsNTM S2 will keep the audience at the edge of their seats with the glitz, glamour and action in this 13 episodes reality series.

With a multi-million dollar budget, AsNTM S2 was shot across 8 cities with luxurious on-location photo shoots such as the Ritz Carlton penthouse in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, private resort islands situated in Pangkor Laut, Gaya and Tanjong Jara. AsNTM S2 also features more than 40 cameos and guest appearances by a bevy of international celebrities and fashion influencers like high fashion shoe designer Jimmy Choo, international songbird CoCo Lee, beauty guru for the Kardashian sisters, Rob Scheppy, pop music powerhouse from Sweden, Icona Pop, Australia’s premier couturier, Alex Perry and many well-known names.

Once again, Nadya Hutagalung takes on the role as head judge and host of AsNTM S2, alongside with returning model mentor Joey Mead King from Season 1. There will be two additional judges joining the panel for Season 2; resident photographer Mike Rosenthal and movement coach, Adam Williams.

Episode 1 will see the 16 models sizing each other up as they gather at their new residence. As they get acquainted with one another and the panel of judges, the models immediately take on their first challenge as well as walking on a ‘magic’ runway. Drama begins when one model hopeful receives some unfortunate news from home and another model pays the price with the first elimination round.

The winner of AsNTM S2 will be awarded the brand new Subaru XV, the 2014 Face of TRESemmé in Southeast Asia, the opportunity to appear on the cover and be featured in the fashion spread of Harper’s Bazaar Singapore and Harper’s Bazaar Malaysia, a cash prize and a three-month modelling contract with leading international modelling agency, Storm Model Management.
