SINGAPORE, 9 May 2014 – Launch Entertainment is excited to announce that YouTube sensations Sam Tsui and Kurt Hugo Schneider will be returning to our shores in June!
Following the success of their first Asia Tour in 2013, the duos are set to return and electrify Singapore and Hong Kong once again. Tsui released his first full-length album in 2013 titled “Make It Up”. Together with Schneider, they toured Canada and the US with the talented Alex Goot, Against the Current, Landon Austin, Luke Conard, and King the Kid. Between the duo, they amassed over 5.3 million followers on their YouTube channels with more than 900 million total views.
In 2007, they started producing and posting YouTube videos, which quickly went viral, spawning new subscribers and millions of views. Clocking over 78 million hits for the cover version of Nelly’s ‘Just A Dream’ and over 34 million hits for cover version of Glee’s ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ and television appearances on the likes of The Oprah Winfrey Show and The Ellen DeGeneres Show, it is safe to say that they have fortified their footing in the music industry.
More recently, the duo teamed up with Coca-Cola to create a music video featuring Calvin Harris’ “Feel So Close” for a campaign called “The Sounds of AHH” by using only Coca-Cola bottles, glasses and cans for the track. Tsui and Schneider once again proved that they have so much to show the world and this is only the beginning of greater things to come.
As part of their Asia Tour 2014, the dynamic duo will be bringing their impeccable musical showmanship, performing at Kallang Theatre on 27June 2014 before heading to MacPherson Stadium in Hong Kong on 29 June 2014.
