Global girl group XG reached a significant milestone with their debut mini album, NEW DNA, which claimed the top position on the Billboard JAPAN Hot Albums chart. This remarkable achievement further solidifies their ever-growing popularity.
Additionally, “NEW DANCE”, one of the standout tracks from the mini album, remained on the Billboard JAPAN Hot 100 chart for an impressive six consecutive weeks.
Released on September 27th, NEW DNA set the world ablaze, boldly declaring the 7-member powerhouse as a ‘new species’ that is unbound by convention or limitations. This mini album, a masterful fusion of art and music, consists of six brand-new songs accompanied by artwork evoking the beauty of cell division and symbolising the evolution of XG’s ‘NEW DNA’.
The title track “PUPPET SHOW” is a musical odyssey, blending diverse elements such as punchy drum beats and Jersey club-inspired rhythms. The accompanying music video under the theme of ‘Parade’, merges the mysterious and peculiar fantasy elements of puppetry with a creative worldview that only XG can deliver.

The mini album is available in two physical CD BOX versions: ‘X Ver.’ and ‘G Ver.’. The ‘X Ver.’ boasts a mysterious purple packaging that reveals a shimmering hologram of XG’s distinctive NEW DNA when opened. Its sophisticated black and silver tones redefine luxury. The ‘G Ver.’ on the other hand features an opaque white box with XG’s NEW DNA displayed on clear metallic paper, exuding a fresh and clean image with its white and blue tones.
