It’s another week of Wanderlust Wednesday!
This time you are in for a treat to Korean BBQ!
If you are a fan of SBS Variety Show, Running Man, you will definitely be familiar with HAHA, (Ha Dong Hoon) who got recently married with Byul and had a daughter named Dream.
Yes! Today we are going to introduce HAHA’s BBQ restaurant, 401 Loco Quan located at the heart of Hongdae!
HAHA’s restaurant previously was called Pal Ja Mak Chang, which was known for their pork intestines! And he did some renovation before it was re-opened as 401 Loco Quan restaurant.
What’s on the menu?
401 Loco Quan only sell pork! And they are also known for serving only Jeju porks!! You can choose the different parts of the pork, for example: Collar butt pork steak, five-fold pork belly, pork cheek meat.
They also provide a few sides such as Kimchi stew, Radish water kimchi noodle (dongchimi), lunch box (bento) and just plain rice to go with the meat! For drinks, they have quite limited choices, maybe because they were just opened when we were there. (But we had found out that recently they have added more items on their menu!)
HAHA’s staffs are also friendly and nice to help you with the serving and cooking of the meat! (Not to mention, some are really good-looking! XD) In addition! They are really easy to spot because they are all wearing the same black uniform with the words ‘401 Loco Quan’ printed on the shirt! ^^;
The pricing of the food are a little expensive, if you compare to the normal BBQ shops in Korea BUT it’s opened by HAHA and you might get a chance to spot him or even Running Man members while eating your lunch/dinner, so that’s a plus point! XD
