TOMORROW X TOGETHER successfully performed their first sold-out concert in Singapore for their world tour “<ACT : SWEET MIRAGE>” on 1 April 2023.
The five members—SOOBIN, YEONJUN, BEOMGYU, TAEHYUN, and HUENINGKAI—started off the show with a promise to put on a magical and mind-blowing show for their fans, affectionately known as MOA (an acronym for the phrase “Moments Of Alwaysness”), and they sure delivered.
The concert included original and new performances by the members, special solo and unit segments, and unique props and special effects around the themes of magic, illusion, and temptation. There was strong storytelling throughout the show, much like a theatre production.
With youthful and energetic charms, Gen Z’s ‘it band’ kicked the show off with “Blue Hour”, then showed off their chemistry through synchronised dance moves in “Can’t We Just Leave The Monster Alive?” and a mash-up of “Drama” and “No Rules”.
The bandmates made the stage their playground with “Cat & Dog”, an upbeat pop track, followed by one of their representative tracks, “9 and Three Quarters (Run Away)”, where in the outro HUENINGKAI showed off a mesmerising dance solo.
During “We Lost The Summer” and “Can’t You See Me?”, the motifs of flames and ruin in the background visuals decorated the stage.

The energy from the audience reached its peak when the whole stadium sang and danced along to the group’s hit songs “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)” and “LO$ER=LO♡ER”.
The quintet then performed “Dear Sputnik”, a pop-rock track co-produced by HUENINGKAI and co-written by TAEHYUN, before showing off funky dance moves in “Magic”, the background LED flashing dreamy, space-themed graphics that bring across the song’s meaning of “every moment spent with you is just like magic to me”.
In the intro for “Opening Sequence”, members presented an artistic dance performance in two units: TAEHYUN and HUENINGKAI, then SOOBIN and BEOMGYU, followed by YEONJUN with a solo segment, and after showed off their strong vocal skills with “Anti-Romantic” and “Eternally”. Alternating between two contrasting moods, the performance of “Eternally” previewed the section that followed.
The mood takes a dramatic turn with the following songs. The tracks “Good Boy Gone Bad”, “Tinnitus (Wanna be a rock)”, and “Devil by the Window” have a tough and gritty sound full of punk-rock spirit, where the members showed off a sexy and rebellious side.
The show continued with a contrasting vibe with colourful, psychedelic production elements to accompany the bright, playful, and upbeat performances of “Angel or Devil”, “Ice Cream”, “Happy Fools (feat. Coi Leray)”, and “Sugar Rush Ride”.
“Farewell, Neverland” was the group’s encore performance. In “Farewell, Neverland”, gentle guitar strums rang through the hall as a dream-like, star-filled scene unfolded in the background.
One of the highlights of the night was the unreleased song, “Blue Spring”. The mellow and heartfelt track was written by the members as a show of love and appreciation for their fans, and they delivered each word with sincerity through an emotional performance.
The last performance of the night was “Our Summer”, a melodic synth-heavy track that speaks of a special someone who makes every day feel like summer. As a surprise event for the five-piece boy group, the audience sang along to the last verse with loud voices, and held up banners that read: “Our promise of eternity that shines within the golden sun”.

Bidding their goodbyes, the members thanked the audience for the energy and cheers through the night, and promised to return to Singapore as soon as they can. Leader SOOBIN represented the team and said: “Everything we do will always be for you, MOA”.
“TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR <ACT : SWEET MIRAGE>” runs from March to May of 2023 and consists of 23 shows through 13 cities.
