10th March 2015 – With the upcoming Marvel movies hitting shores within the next few months, I am pretty sure you get my reference if you have been keeping up with the news. Avengers: Age of Ultron set to drop on 23rd April (Only next month!! I cannot wait!!) followed by Ant-Man on 16th July.

Utilizing Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Marvel’s Agent Carter (We covered this last week) to fill up plot holes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Those who have been watching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. from Season One know Skye (Chloe Bennet) is an 0-8-4, also known as an Object of Unknown Origin. Just smells fishy right? Well I had my suspicions towards the end of the first season seeing as how the show’s writers let us see Raina a.k.a The Girl in the Flower Dress (Ruth Negga) passing on a photo of Skye to a man in bloody bandages and telling him “I have found your daughter”.

In the second season, it became even more clear to me that she is not just an 0-8-4 but THE 0-8-4. Ending the mid season with a confirmation of her identity (and my suspicions), we now know that Skye was born Daisy Johnson. In the comics, Daisy is a secret agent of SHIELD who can generate powerful waves of vibrations that can produce effects resembling those of earthquakes. She is also an Inhuman!!! Because she went through the Terrigen Mist (Terrigenesis: a process allowing the Inhumans to inhale the Mists obtained from the use of the Terrigen Crystals, in order to activate their Inhuman genes and ascend as meta-humans.) that came in the form of the mysterious obelisk.

This is the first mention and introduction to the Inhumans. I knew that it would not be long before Marvel would make a movie on the Inhumans and my wish got granted!

Also, Marvel Entertainment chose to announce an entire list of other movies they have in the works and when they plan to release them.

Here is a list of them if you are not up to date yet! (Besides AOU and Ant-Man, the rest are based off US release dates. [Note: There may be more Marvel movies being released in between these announced date too! so stay tuned for that!])

May 6th 2016 – Captain America: Civil War
November 4th 2016 – Doctor Strange
May 5th 2017 – Guardians of the Galaxy 2

With the recent news of Spider-Man returning home to the MCU, naturally fans start to wonder how Marvel is going to fit Spidey in together with the Avengers. When news started surfacing on Spidey coming home, Marvel moved worlds to make sure everything will go as smoothly as possible. So a few movies (Thor and Black Panther. Avengers are staying put!) that were announced earlier are now pushed to make way for Spidey.

July 28th 2017 – The Spectacular Spider-Man
November 7th 2017 – Thor: Ragnarok
May 4th 2018 – Avengers: Infinity War Part 1
July 6th 2018 – Black Panther
November 2nd 2018 – Captain Marvel
May 3rd 2019 – Avengers: Infinity War Part 2
July 12th 2019 – Inhumans

Here is a timeline to make it easier for you:

I got to admit, this list makes me sooooooooooooo excited I cannot stop myself from squealing! Are you guys as stoked and as pumped up as I am?
