Star Wars Day is on May 4th which is celebrated by Star Wars fans all over the world. The date was chosen for the easy pun on the catchphrase “May the Force be with you“—”May the fourth be with you”. May 4th happened to be earlier this Monday, so let’s take a look at the recent release of Star Wars New Era caps!
Star Wars X New Era Limited Edition Collection
To celebrate Star Wars Day on May 4th, New Era collaborated with Star Wars and created a limited edition collection of 59FIFTY caps. This limited edition collection consists of the movie’s most recognizable characters: Darth Vader and Stormtrooper.
“Obi Wan Never told you what happened to your father”
“He told me enough! He told me you killed him!”
“No…I am your father!”
The caps are a representation of the masks worn and are presented in leather with highly detailed embroidery. Darth Vader‘s cap will be in glossy black and the Stormtrooper‘s cap will be in matt white. As you can see from the inner design of the caps, both styles feature a satin lining on the inside with a print of the original figure in galaxy background. Only 144 caps will be produced for each style.
To all Star Wars fans, what are you waiting for? Now that New Era had released the Star Wars limited edition collection and with only limited amounts being produced, there is no reason not to try and get your hands on one of these and be seen in it!
