Maybe you’re a muffin-top because you have been snacking a little too much lately, but nothing screams stud more than the creative piece engineered by Kyle Brincefield.
Recently in town for the annual Singapore Fashion Week, Kyle tells off how each of the studs is affixed onto each piece by hand. The pop-up store in Tangs would have been closed and dusted down, but you can find more of his unique pieces online or gracing the covers of various Vogue magazines.
From bodysuits to hoodies to sweat pants, there is definitely something for everyone who wants to make a bold fashion statement! Each hand made piece screams ‘look at me’, and is perfect for those who want to stand out from your peers.
Despite his overwhelming popularity (his clothes has been graced by then likes of Miley Cyrus and Adam Lambert, just to name a few), StudMuffin remains a one-man operation. Creating such fun pieces requires Kyle to fashion each piece himself, putting out collections of creative and striking additions to one’s wardrobes.
While StudMuffin started off predominantly as menswear, some of the pieces have been altered as unisex pieces, with Kyle shows interest into delving into women’s wear.

While getting something from the ready-to-wear store might take a hefty bite out of your pocket, you can be reassured that you will remain the highlight of every event just by donning a piece. You’ll even get an added perk of your own personal space on public transport due to all the spikes that you are sporting. Just be careful not to hurt yourself or anyone else for that matter!
