Dubbed “Nation’s First Love“, singer-actress Bae Suzy released a new solo song “Come Back” on February 17! This digital single is her first official solo release in approximately two years.
News of her return as a singer came as an exciting surprise to fans who missed her dreamy voice. The singer posted the first round of teasers earlier this month, which were black-and-white photograph styled teaser images which artfully captured her innocent beauty with a hint of melancholy.
“Come Back” is a comforting song, with Suzy’s angelic voice crooning “Come back to me“. The song is gentle and minimalistic, which allows listeners to really enjoy Suzy’s voice. The music video for “Come Back” depicts a peek into Suzy’s daily activities on a chill day.
Suzy was a member of JYP Entertainment’s girl group Miss A and has starred in many successful dramas such as “Start-Up“, “While You Were Sleeping” and “Anna“. Her last musical release was OSTs for her 2023 drama “Doona!“. The drama clinched the No. 1 spot on Netflix’s top 10 TV programs in Singapore at the time of release.
Other than her new song “Come Back“, fans of Suzy can also look forward to her upcoming drama with Kim Woo Bin, which will be available on Netflix.
