Korean-Canadian R&B artiste slchld (pronounced seoul-child, and stylized as ‘slchld’) makes his highly anticipated return to Singapore with a brand-new show on July 13 (Sunday) 2025, 7pm at the Gateway Theatre.
Having sold out his 2022 previous headline tour in Asia, slchld is most known for his hit songs like “she likes spring, I prefer winter”, “maybe we need a break”, “Say What’s On Your Mind” – favourites amongst the lo-fi community.
Since then, slchld notably collaborated with Thai indie R&B duo HYBS on the track “Good Care” in 2023, and his single “CARE,” an upbeat track exploring resilience and understanding in relationships. The single was part of his successful 2024 EP APOLOGY, which featured a collaboration with Korean-American artist eaJ. In February this year, he surprised his fans with another new release, “A Thousand Years with You”.
Having achieved millions of streams on Spotify, slchld is undeniably a leader of lo-fi R&B among his contemporaries such as keshi and Joji.
