Skechers, The Comfort Technology Company™ and a global leader in lifestyle and performance footwear, celebrated a major regional milestone in Malaysia with the newly relocated and expanded Superstore at Sunway Pyramid (LG1.129).
Bringing together a series of brand milestones under one roof, the celebration marked the first official public appearance of Skechers Regional Brand Ambassadors DK, SEUNGKWAN and DINO of SEVENTEEN since their appointment, highlighting the trio’s growing connection with Skechers fans across Southeast Asia. The celebration also featured a special big-screen showcase of the brand’s latest campaign video featuring the trio.
Located within Sunway Pyramid, the newly relocated store spans approximately 8,650 square feet, nearly six times the size of its previous 1,453 square-foot location within the mall. The newly expanded Superstore is the first of its kind in Subang Jaya and offers consumers a broader selection of Skechers lifestyle and performance footwear, apparel, and accessories in a more immersive shopping environment.
The event attracted an estimated of more than 8,000 attendees, comprising invited guests, fans, and shoppers, as the celebration brought together the store opening and an immersive experience at the mall’s iconic Ice Rink. From a combined fashion and parkour performance featuring the Skechers Fall Winter 2026 Shoes and Apparel to interactive fan activities and entertainment, the event brought together fashion, performance, and community in one of the brand’s largest consumer activations in Southeast Asia to date.
A NEW CHAPTER FOR SKECHERS AT SUNWAY PYRAMID
Following its soft opening on 7 August 2026, the newly relocated Sunway Pyramid Superstore represents Skechers’ continued investment in enhancing its retail presence across Malaysia.
Designed to meet growing consumer demand, the expanded space houses Skechers’ most comprehensive product offering in Subang Jaya to date. Alongside its full range of lifestyle footwear, apparel, and accessories, the store features dedicated zones for Walking, Running, Pickleball, Trail, Kids, and Performance Apparel, creating a more intuitive shopping journey while making it easier for consumers to explore products tailored to different lifestyles and activities.
The Superstore brings together the brand’s lifestyle and performance categories within a single retail destination. This further reinforces Skechers’ commitment to being a one-stop destination for consumers seeking footwear, apparel, and accessories across a wide range of sports and everyday wear.
Complementing the expanded retail space are also new in-store experiences designed to make shopping more interactive and personalised. Customers can utilise Skechers’ SafeSize foot-scanning technology to receive personalised fit recommendations, while the DIY Customisation Corner allows shoppers to customise selected footwear and apparel with charms, shoelaces, and heat-pressed graphics, offering a unique way to express their personal style.
STEPPING INSIDE THE NEW SPACE
To officially mark the opening, Skechers Regional Brand Ambassadors DK, SEUNGKWAN and DINO of SEVENTEEN joined Skechers’ senior leadership for the Opening Ceremony, which featured a photo opportunity with a giant Skechers AERO Burst shoe display. Inspired by the bold design of the AERO Burst performance running shoe — renowned for its responsive cushioning and smooth ride — the display anchored the moment as the trio celebrated the store’s official launch.
Following the ceremony, DK, SEUNGKWAN and DINO toured the newly expanded Sunway Pyramid Superstore, exploring the refreshed retail concept and engaging with fans and guests onsite.

BRINGING SKECHERS & SEVENTEEN FANS CLOSER TO THE BRAND
Following the announcement of DK, SEUNGKWAN, and DINO’s visit to Malaysia in July, Skechers launched the Skechers Sunway Pyramid Grand Opening – Meet & Greet with DK, SEUNGKWAN and DINO of SEVENTEEN, offering one lucky winner from Singapore the chance to bring one guest on a 3D2N trip to Kuala Lumpur, worth S$1,500, including return flights, accommodation, and an exclusive Meet & Greet with the trio.

Held at Sunway Pyramid’s iconic ice skating rink, the celebration opened with a parkour performance by Malaysian talents Flipatgym, Angelina Didier and Angel Wong. Showcasing their agility, speed, and precision, they energised the crowd with daring stunts and dynamic movement. Following the performance, the spotlight turned to the fashion show, where models presented the latest Skechers Fall Winter 2026 Apparel and Shoes Collection, alongside the exclusive and limited‑edition SKECHERS I SEVENTEEN’s DK, SEUNGKWAN and DINO Apparel Collection. The showcase brought Skechers’ fusion of comfort, performance, and style to life on the runway.
The event continued with an interactive stage segment, where the ambassadors took part in games and a live Q&A session, sharing their experiences as Skechers Regional Brand Ambassadors and the inspiration behind their first-ever co-created collection with Skechers. Reflecting on the milestone, the trio each shared what the moment meant to them:

“Marking our very first official appearance in such a beautiful Superstore at Sunway Pyramid with all of you makes me feel so grateful. Let’s make some amazing memories together today,” said DINO of SEVENTEEN.
Fans also enjoyed a big-screen showcase of Skechers’ latest regional campaign video starring DK, SEUNGKWAN, and DINO. The video is part of the Skechers Hands-Free Slip-ins® campaign, showcasing several Skechers collections including the Skechers Court Classics Hotshot, Skechers Max Run, and Skechers Max Cushioning® Glide-Step® Collections. During the segment, DINO also recreated some of his signature dance moves from the video, drawing loud cheers from the crowd.
The event concluded with DK, SEUNGKWAN, and DINO joined by Skechers regional leaders for a special Token of Appreciation presentation. Each of the regional ambassadors received a customised pair from the Skechers Court Classics Hotshot, specially designed in collaboration with Malaysian artist Jayklo, who incorporated elements from each member’s own apparel collection artwork into their pair. The celebration closed with a commemorative group photo with guests.
