Singapore Hit Awards 2014 – Stefanie Sun, Eric Moo, Aaron Yan and Sam Lee to perform

It will be an evening not to be missed at Singapore Hit Awards 2014 (SHA 2014) with over 30 Mandopop stars from across Asia in attendance.Singapore’s Number 1 radio station and organiser of the annual music event, MediaCorp Y.E.S. 93.3FM, unveiled the latest line-up.

Eric Moo, who is scheduled to perform at his own concert a day after the awards, will receive the Honorary Award and perform a medley of classic hits.

Stefanie Sun, currently on a worldwide concert tour, has declined multiple awards invites this year. She has however, confirmed her attendance at the Singapore Hit Awards, and is set to perform a series of hits with a live band.

Aaron Yan revealed that he is delighted to attend the show and will bring on some dance moves.

Sam Lee will attend the show as a presenter, and will perform his latest ballad for the first time in Southeast Asia.

For the first time ever, Y.E.S. 93.3FM is inviting a listener to experience the exhilaration of an awards show at a very different level. Mervin Ong, 26, who emerged winner in an onsite event conducted in

October, will be presenting the award for “Y.E.S. 93.3FM Pick of the Pops Top 10 Most Popular Hits” to Stefanie Sun for her song, Angel’s Fingerprints.
SHA 2014 aims to promote the development of local music. Seven homegrown artistes – Kenny Khoo, Lingkai, Kiat Goh, Gavin (Chong Zhe), Bonnie Loo, Stella Seah and the newly crowned <Project Superstar> female champion, Abigail Yeo, will be performing their debut singles on stage.

Chairman of SHA 2014’s Executive Committee, Mr Cruz Teng says “Singapore is certainly the most commercially or culturally important market for Chinese music. This, however, has not deterred
budding talents and musicians from pursuing their music dreams. No other Mandarin media has the
capability and influence to create this regional platform to showcase our talents. I’m glad that Y.E.S. 93.3FM can continue to contribute to the development of the local music scene.

More than 30 artistes will attend SHA 2014, including Eric Moo, Stefanie Sun, Aaron Yan, Sam Lee, Jiajia, Bii, Kelly Poon, Lee Weisong, Xiaohan, Li Ronghao, Wang Dawen, Jessica Lee, James Morris -Cotterill, Kenny Khoo, Lingkai, Kiat Goh, Gavin (Chongzhe), Bonnie Loo, Abigail Yeo, Stella Seah, Johnson Ong, Jay Lim, Winnie Soo, Pierre Png, Felicia Chin, Ian Fang, Julie Tan, and more.

Organised by Y.E.S. 93.3FM and co-organised by Channel U, SHA 2014 will be hosted by DJs Lim
Peifen, Siau Jiahui, Xie Jiafa and Chung Kun Wah.

The indoor red carpet segment will commence at 7.15pm and will be hosted by Ivy Tan and Chen Ning. Doors open at 6.30pm.

Tickets priced at $118, $98, $58 and $38 (excluding SISTIC fee) are available at all SISTIC outlets.
