NCT WISH is a six-member boy group under SM Entertainment, and is the sixth and final addition to the sub-units of the NCT Universe. Consisting of members SION, YUSHI, JAEHEE, RYO, SAKUYA and RIKU, NCT WISH debuted with the single “WISH” on February 28, 2024. With their highly anticipated first solo concert tour “2025 NCT WISH ASIA TOUR LOG in Singapore”, the show on 17 May 2025 also marked the group’s debut stage in Singapore.
NCT WISH’s concert was creatively themed around a video game concept, immersing the fans in their youthful world. The screen was designed to mirror a video game interface, while the stage resembled a giant control board complete with the start button and directional arrows. NCT WISH also tied in every element, such as their VCRs and on-stage visuals, to their ‘video game‘ theme, allowing fans to fully immerse into the show.
Fans were on their feet all night, as they sang and cheered along to hits such as “poppop”, “Steady”, “Melt Inside My Pocket” and “NASA”. NCT WISH included a special interactive game segment where fans were given the choice to vote between two options, where the members thrilled the crowd with covers of K-Pop classics like EXO’s “Growl” and Shinhwa’s “Eusha Eusha”. To top it off, the boys melted hearts with a playful dance challenge while donning adorable rabbit ears.
NCT WISH’s efforts to connect with the local crowd were proven through their attempts to speak in English, and cheekily using Singlish phrases such as “ai stead mai” and “you make my heart go Bedok Bedok”, which got the fans swooning. NCT WISH also repeatedly expressed their love and appreciation for Singapore, sharing their memories made through the local food (the boys even visited the Night Safari and Merlion Park during their visit here!).
With such heartfelt moments and energetic performances, NCT WISH left a strong impressions on their fans in Singapore. We hope to see them back on our sunny island again soon – with more music, more memories, and hopefully more “poppop” magic.
