Following up with our previous feature on Tiffany Tang and the latest 2015 dramas by her, we introduced ‘Silent Separation (何以笙箫默)’ acted by Tiffany Tang and Wallace Chung and originated from a novel by Gu Man (顾漫). Good news for fans of the novel and drama series, the movie version is set to be officially released on 1st May 2015. Well, that’s less than 2 months from now!

#1. Angelababy casted as “He Yi Mei” – non-biological sister of male lead.
Angelababy (杨颖) was casted as the non-biological sister of male lead “He Yi Chen” which will be acted by her boyfriend (soon-to-be-husband) Huang Xiao Ming (黄晓明). Having a crush on her brother since childhood, He Yi Mei was the mastermind behind the lovebird’s misunderstanding before Mo Sheng left for the States. Loving couple in real life and (loving as well) siblings in the movie, the chemistry between both is definitely worthy to look forward to!
Back in 2014, Huang Xiao Ming also revealed his plans on proposing to Angelababy this year.
#2. Besties Tiffany Tang and Yang Mi both casted as the female lead in the drama and movie.
Since the announcement of the movie release, it has been a hot topic circulating on weibo regarding “Yang Mi (杨幂) -vs- Tiffany Tang (唐嫣)“. Not only are they taking up the same role as the female lead (Zhao Mo Sheng 赵默笙) in the same story plot of both the drama and movie of “My Sunshine (何以笙箫默)” , both actresses are the best of friends in their personal lives. Having sweet voices and gorgeous faces in common, we wonder how will they each fare in the field of acting. Are you a supporter of #TeamTiffany or #TeamYangMi?
#3. EXO’s Tao makes his debut movie appearance.
Yes, you didn’t see it wrong! Fans of EXO’s Tao are in for a treat! Tao will be making his movie debut as the teenage version of the male lead “He Yi Chen”. If you’ve already watched the drama series, you would’ve know that the teenage male lead had quite a fair bit of screen time. EXO’s Sehun, Super Junior-M’s Zhou Mi and Miss A’s Jia have been seen sending supportive messages to Tao on weibo as well. It is also rumored that the collaboration was made possible due to Tao’s relationship with Huang Xiao Ming.
Whether or not you are a fan of spoilers, we will not spoil the movie for you! However, if you can’t already contain your excitement, you might want to read the novel (click here) first.
