Thai boy group LYKN was in town last weekend for their debut concert, LYKN UNLEASHED ASIA TOUR IN SINGAPORE! Comprising five members—Nut, Hong, Tui, William, and Lego—the group was formed through the survival show Project Alpha in 2023. They sold out their show The Theatre at Mediacorp, which is an incredible feat for rookie artists.
You might be wondering what makes them so popular. LYKN is not just exceptional at performing; they also excel connecting with their fans. Powerful vocals? Check. Impressive dance moves? Check. Cheesy jokes? Check. Fan service? You bet—check, check, check!
Clad in black and orange, LYKN kicked off the evening with “MAY I?” and “Umm Umm”. The boys then performed their solo stages, and we were particularly impressed by Hong’s solo “Muay Nee Kah”, where he quipped the local phrase “Chiobu, ai stead mai?” in the middle, causing the crowd to go wild. Lego’s solo, “Question?” was also absolutely riveting to watch. Dressed as a conductor and dancing with his baton—only to lose it halfway through—his fluid and expressive movements kept us mesmerized, unable to look away.
The group playfully engaged with the fans by sharing their best pick-up lines, which had the audience laughing and applauding their creativity. Our favorites were Tui’s, “My most favorite word in the world is Universe, because it starts with U and I”, and Nut’s, “If I had to give you a rating, I’d give you a nine, because I’m the one for you”. The segment ended with Lego serenading us with “The Cutest Pair”, a popular viral song by Singaporean artist Regina Song.
In the next segment, LYKN made a vibrant return to the stage, donning colorful outfits and delivering high-energy covers of popular Thai-Pop hits, including “Candidate” by labelmate Fourth. William and Tui joined in, strumming their guitars and igniting the crowd with a lively rendition of “WHY ALWAYS ME?” by Nanon and Maiyarap. The energy reached a fever pitch as the group wrapped up the segment with an electrifying performance of “Knock Knock” by Nanon and Jorin, followed by the K-Pop megahit “Chk Chk Boom” by Stray Kids. By the time the segment concluded, fans were on their feet, completely caught up in the infectious energy.
The concert then took a slower turn as LYKN performed “NO WORRIES” and “Last Twilight”, before picking up the pace once more with an energetic return to the stage for “THE ALPHA”, “CHARM”, and “SUGOI”. A heartwarming moment followed as fans shared a video compilation of their messages to LYKN, visibly moving the group. Tui was then surprised with a birthday cake as his birthday was later on in the month. Lego also took the opportunity to express his gratitude to the fans for their unwavering love and support, promising that LYKN would continue to spread happiness to them in return.

The concert wrapped up with the fan song “LYKYOU”, a heartfelt track with lyrics and melody written by Tui. The energy soared once again as the group returned for an encore, performing “CHARM” and “SUGOI” amidst a shower of yellow confetti. The crowd was jumping and dancing with excitement, fully immersed in the electrifying atmosphere.
Overall, we were thoroughly impressed by LYKN’s live performance. Seeing them online was one thing, but witnessing their ability to captivate the crowd in person was something else entirely. From start to finish, they had the audience hooked at every moment. It’s clear they are on their way to even greater achievements. Just after their unforgettable concert in Singapore, we noted that they took home the “Best Boy Group of the Year” award at the Guitar Mag Awards 2025, further cementing their rising stardom.
We look forward to welcoming LYKN back to Singapore again! A huge thank you to GMMTV and Riser Music for the media invite to LYKN UNLEASHED ASIA TOUR IN SINGAPORE.
