Koda Kumi, pop musician recognised on a global level had released her new album entitled “WALK OF MY LIFE” earlier in March.
In the midst of a nationwide arena tour in Japan after almost 2 years and spearheaded by her latest album ”Koda Kumi 15th Anniversary Live Tour 2015 ~WALK OF MY LIFE~ supported by Mercedes-Benz”, it was announced that her solo concert would also be held in Asia, entitled “Koda Kumi Asia Live 2015”. Besides stopping over in Taiwan – making it her fourth time to perform over 3 consecutive years, she will also arrive on Singapore shores to hold a concert for the first time, in an one night only performance.
Koda, who has many international fans who would specially come to watch her concerts in Japan, has been dubbed the “Queen of Live” for her powerful vocals and exciting dance performance. It’s no wonder she was able to charm a total of 1.3 million concert goers who weren’t able to peel their eyes of the stage even for a moment.
Already well-known in Taiwan with boasting popularity, it’s clear that her local fanbase continues to grow, judging from the loud cheers each time she appears. Singapore was finally chosen as the second city for Koda to hold a concert, amongst earnest desires from fans in many countries, including Europe and America.
There’s no question about the stunning performance or powerful direction Koda puts on the arena tour currently ongoing in Japan, but the shows in Taiwan and Singapore are going to be a premium treat as fans get to enjoy Koda’s perfomance in an intimate setting. The setlist and structure will be specially designed to cater to her Asian fans – the final product will be sure to garner much attention, and not one to be missed.
