A few days ago, we were reporting about KCON Paris. If you are a Japan lover, then France has an other event for you : Japan Expo, a convention of several days (from July, 7th to July, 10th) that is all about Japan.
Japan Expo’s 17th edition will launch summer for many fans in Europe. With 700 exhibitors and 12 stages, is is a huge event that turns the Parc des Expositions Paris-Nord Villepinte into a heaven for Japan-lovers.
The event addresses many aspects of the japanese traditionnal, popular and modern culture : lifestyle, music, food, toys, studies, manga and many many more. There isn’t an aspect that is forgotten. Which also attracts a variety of people in the audience : cosplayers, gamers, music lovers, fashion icons… They all come to take part in different activities but also to meet the many guests. Both experienced guests that are already well-known in their field, but also tomorrow’s artists.
The event is also an opportunity to better understand the relationships between France and Japan. This is why this convention will include a “French Touch” section to present french artists, designers, drawers etc. who use the influence of Japan in their arts and designs.
