It was indeed a love scenario last evening at The Max Pavilion, where iKON 2018 CONTINUE TOUR IN SINGAPORE took place to a really high crowd of iKONICs.
The KONcert was already off to an explosive start with ‘BLING BLING’, ‘Sinosijak’ and ‘Rhythm Ta’. The special stages were equally impressive, with the vocal line (Jinhwan, Junhoe, Yunhyeong, Donghyuk, and Chanwoo) opening with ‘Perfect’, followed by Bobby showing off his rapping prowess with ‘Tendae’ and B.I with ‘One & Only’. Double B continued with ‘Anthem’, where they were joined by the rest of the members on stage.
There was no chill moment during the concert at all, even when iKON sat back to perform a relatively slower song, ‘My Type’, as fans were screaming while the members teased each other on stage. It was no surprise that the entire audience was singing along to ‘Love Scenario’, which took Korea by storm when it was released (that even Korean children know how to sing the song!)
iKON cheekily teased their fans to scream louder so that they would come out for their encore, after they performed their “last 2 songs” – ‘Killing Me’ and ‘Freedom’.
iKONICs promised to protect iKON “iKON을 지켜줄게 ❤️”
iKONICs raised up banners that read “iKON을 지켜줄게 ❤️” (we will protect iKON) during the first encore stage of ‘Just For You’, to which iKON responded endearingly with “We will protect you!” and B.I jokingly adding “Please protect me!”
The atmosphere was over the roof with the rest of the encore stages – ‘Love Scenario’, ‘Don’t Let Me Know’, ‘Dumb & Dumber‘ and lastly ‘B-DAY’, where everyone got on their feet and started jumping along to iKON’s cues.
The concert ended with a blast, and Singapore iKONICs are definitely hoping for iKON to return again with another concert – but meanwhile let’s look forward to their upcoming comeback on December 31st (their 4th comeback of the year!)
