Q: Hi HEYOON! Congratulations on your new EP “seriously unserious”! Please tell us more about about it!
HEYOON: “seriously unserious” is all about having fun and not overthinking. I made this EP hoping to get people out of their heads and into their bodies.
Q: How do you balance being “serious” and “unserious” in your music and identity as an artist?
HEYOON: I try to stay serious about creating and unserious about the outcome. It’s like a relationship. be present in the process, detach from the expectations and judgement.
Q: If someone were discovering your music for the first time, which song from your discography would you recommend they start with?
HEYOON: “aiaiai” or “swipe” – both great songs to start with 🙂

Q: If “seriously unserious” had a signature emoji, what would it be?
HEYOON: the winking face with the tongue out!! 😜
Q: What are some small things that have been making you happy lately?
HEYOON: My puppy Tubu, and a glass of wine with the girls!

Q: What’s something new you want to challenge yourself with next?
HEYOON: Pole dancing or learning then singing in a new language would be cool!
Q: If you could go on a holiday to Singapore, what are three things you would enjoy doing? Have you visited Singapore before? If so, do you have any memories or impressions to share?
HEYOON: I’ve been to Singapore once and was shocked at how clean and nice everywhere was! The country felt like a small but strong community. I’d also love to go out in Singapore next time I visit!
