Reflecting on his return, G-DRAGON noted a shift in fan reactions. “Before, whenever I made a comeback, fans would excitedly scream ‘Oppa~ Oppa~,’ but this time, I heard more of ‘Ji-yong-ah! Kim Soo-hyun, now 18 years into his career, laughed at himself, saying, “Even I find it unbelievable that I’m here. I used to be quite guarded and even a little withdrawn. If this wasn’t 2024, I don’t think I would have agreed to this so easily. But I’ve changed a lot this year—maybe I’m just getting older and turning into an ahjussi. To liven up the atmosphere, he started singing in an exaggerated voice and even mimicked Taeyang’s singing style. However, when the others gave him blank stares, he was left awkwardly embarrassed.
