Singapore, 22 July 2014 – 11 years after starring together in the 2003 classic K-drama Stairway to Heaven, Kwon Sang Woo and Choi Ji Woo reunite for ONE’s riveting new prime-time series, Temptation!
Temptation follows the story of Cha Suk Hoon (Kwon Sang Woo, King of Ambition), a married man who is stretched to his limits in debt. To repay it, he makes a shady deal with Yoo Se Young (Cho Ji Woo, The Strange Housekeeper), an arrogant heiress, wherein he ‘entrusts himself’ to her. The decision leaves him stuck in anguish between his wife and Se Young. More conflict and drama unfold when Se Young demands his full attention and submission. Suk Hoon has no idea that his deal with the devil will lead to a series of unexpected consequences. The dilemmas and struggles of Suk Hoon, along with the pressure he gets from SeYoung will make for an exciting and alluring drama.
The leading stars of Temptation Kwon Sang Woo and Choi Ji Woo, are no strangers to fans of K-drama. Since Stairway to Heaven, they have gone on to enjoy their own successful careers with leading roles in prime-time serials and have won multiple acting awards. Kwon Sang Woo was last seen on ONE in King of Ambition and Choi Ji Woo in The Strange Housekeeper which ended its re-run on the channel in July.
Temptation will also star CNBlue’s rapper and bassist, Lee Jung Shin. This series marks his return to the small screen after a year of focusing on music projects. He plays Na Hong Kyu, the younger brother of Hong Joo who is the wife of Suk Hoon.
With a promising plot driven by a stellar cast, Temptation will be hard to resist.
Temptation will premiere on 11th August on ONE, following the end of the current Monday-Tuesday drama Doctor Stranger. Airing on every Monday and Tuesday, 8.55pm (SG/MY) and 7.55pm (JKT).
