23 July 2016, Singapore – Most fans indulging in the Korean pop scene would have known popular hits such as “Me Gustas Tu”, “Glass Bead”, and “Rough. These were the very songs that six member girl group led the new girl group wave with. The pure and innocent concept of schoolgirls in uniforms, which top girl group Girl’s Generation debuted with as well. So what do you know about the girls from GFriend?

1. When and where did the girls debut?
   GFriend made their official debut on KBS Music Bank on 16 January 2015. 
2. What is GFriend’s debut song?
   Their official debut song was Glass Bead.
3. Who are the members of GFriend?
   The members are Sowon, Eunha, Yerin, Yuju, SinB, and Umji
4. How did the group name come about?
   Their group name was given by their CEO. Other considered names were Guardian Angel and Hug Hug.
5. What similarities are there within the group members?
   There are 3 lines, which reflected commonalities of members in the group. 
   (a) Eunbi Line – Consisting of SinB (Hwang Eunbi) and Eunha (Jung Eunbi) who has got the same names.
   (b) Tall Line – Consisting of Sowon (172cm) and Yuju (169cm), who are both very tall.
   (c) Birthday Line – Consisting of Yerin and Umji who both has got their birthday on August 19.

The girls are now in the midst of the promotion of their new song “NAVILLERA”, and Singapore and Philippines fans will be able to see them very soon in September.
