Barely three months into their debut and without any music show promotions, DAY6 has already gained a sizeable fanbase and was in town on 5 December 2015 for their first solo fan meeting, 2015 DAY6 Fan Meeting in Singapore.

The band, consisting of members Jae, Sungjin, Junhyeok, Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon, begun the fan meeting with Out Of My Mind and Habits from their debut mini-album, and also performed covers of One Republic’s Stop and Stare and Wonder Girls’ Nobody, giving an edgier vibe to these familiar tunes.
 

Lucky fans also got to interact close-up with their idols during games, such as the “guessing the drawing” game, as well as the “guessing voices” game, where everyone got to see a cheekier side of these 6 guys.
 

DAY6 continued to perform Like That Sun and Colors  from The Day mini-album, which was followed by a surprise VCR screening of predebut DAY6, cueing the start to Young K’s birthday surprise.
 

As a birthday cake was presented on stage to Young K, everyone in the audience held up fan banners for the birthday boy as well! Young K, who did not expect this surprise, exclaimed to the fans, “You guys are amazing, thank you so much!” He made a wish and blew out the candles, but refused to reveal his wish in case it does not come true!
 

The last song of the fan meeting was none other than their title song, Congratulations – which was surely also the message that fans wanted to tell DAY6 on successfully holding their first ever fan meeting in Singapore!

But like what Jae said, “Everyone knows the last song isn’t the last song!” and after a VCR screening, DAY6 returned to stage to perform a medley of hit songs, such as Bruno Mars’ Grenade, Count On Me and Runaway Baby.
 

DAY6 thanked their fans for showing them so much love on their first time here in Singapore, and Young K also revealed that his parents were present as well, with his father attending DAY6’s fan meeting for the first time! Junhyeok shared that it was his mother’s birthday on that day, and he hoped to be able to earn a lot of money to invite his mother to DAY6’s shows overseas.

2015 DAY6 Fan Meeting in Singapore ended with the boys performing another song off their album, Freely – and fans were indeed jumping along freely to the beat!
