B.I’s first overseas fan meeting since he debuted as a solo artiste, was held in Singapore at The Sands Theatre, on the evening of 7th August. Aptly titled “B.I 1st Fan Meeting [B.I OFFLINE] in Singapore”, B.I got to finally meet his international fans, also known as ID, in person after almost 3 years.
The evening began on a high as B.I opened the fan meeting with ‘Waterfall’ and ‘Illa Illa’, before proceeding to greet everyone at the venue.
The first interactive segment of the fan meeting is “What’s In The Box”, where B.I had to guess different items placed inside the box by touching (and even smelling and tasting) them! Fans joined in the fun, answering “yes!” in a loud unison when B.I asked if the items were alive every time, and also shouted the answers to him whenever he was stuck. He however still got the names of two items wrong, which saw him doing forfeits twice—of an aegyo pose and of a cool pose.
Followed by an interview VCR featuring two adorable puppy emcees, B.I returned to hype up the crowd with ‘Flame’ and ‘Lover’.
Next up, fans joined B.I in creating the perfect first date scenario during the “Date Balance Game” segment, where he had to choose between two options to create his ideal first date at the amusement park.

- Surprise present for her: Flowers vs couple sneakers
- Couple items for amusement park date: Animal hair strap vs ribbon hair strap
- Snacks for date: Churros & coffee vs hotdog & juice

- Couple pose for SNS: Flower bottom vs heart above head
- How to walk around the amusement park: Hold hands vs link arms
- Place for confession: Amusement park vs inside the car
- Gift for confession: Couple rings vs Necklace with the initial B
- Confession: “I love you. Go out with me.” vs “I love you. Will you be my girlfriend?”
B.I also showed his gratitude for fans who waited for him to return to perform on stage after so long, thanking fans not once but on numerous occasions throughout the fan meeting. Getting nominated for The Grammys is a big goal for B.I, but to him, most importantly as an artiste who spends a lot of time together with his fans, he hopes to eventually be remembered as a good person.
The crowd went wild as B.I performed his latest single ‘BTBT’, followed by ‘Cosmos’, which got everyone jumping on their feet. During ‘Re-Birth’, fans held up banners prepared for the surprise fan project, which read “다음생에도 비아이의 팬이에요” (also a B.I fan in my next life).

However, this is not the end of the surprise prepared by ID for the Singapore fan meeting—following the group photo session with everyone at the venue, a special VCR containing heartfelt messages by the fans played on screen, which was accompanied by ‘Re-Birth’, with fans’ singing added into the original track to create a perfect dedication to the well-loved performer.

B.I was touched by the thoughtful surprise by his fans, who have waited for his return after a long time, and promised that he will meet them again in the near future. B.I also asked fans to anticipate for his upcoming EP and also hinted at a concert or even a tour, finally ending off the first overseas stop of his solo fan meeting with ‘Remember me’.
