sentosa eggsperience

Look no further than Sentosa for fun-fuelled entertainment this March, as The State of Fun provides endless activities for everyone to enjoy. In conjunction with the March School Holiday and long Easter weekend in March, a variety of edu-tainment fun and delightful egg-themed activities await around the sunny island for visitors of all ages.

So start planning your March calendar to keep the young ones in the family excited! Kick off the school break by engaging in some family fun at the Sentosa KidZ Flea, where you can watch your kids be mini bosses. Held during the school holidays from 12 to 19 March, this event is a perfect opportunity to develop children’s entrepreneurial skills. The award-winning programme is suitable for children aged 7 to 12 years old and will take place at the Merlion Plaza.

From creating products for sale to dealing with customers, participants – also known as ‘PLAY-trepreneurs’ – will have fun acquiring life skills through experiential learning. In addition, expose your kids to the values of compassion and empathy by encouraging them to donate part or all of their earnings to the Autism Association (Singapore), the designated charity for the event this year.

Even if your child is too young to be a PLAY-trepreneur this year or simply not ready to be a mini boss, be sure to keep the event on the calendar. Bring them along to support the PLAY-trepreneurs and unearth treasures at great bargains! Who knows, your little ones could be inspired to take on the challenge to be a PLAY-trepreneur in the next edition!

After spending some quality time at the flea, make your way to Good Old Days at the Beach Station (Beach Plaza) and treat the family to an array of delectable local food such as the Singapore Chicken Rice, Singapore Laksa, Beef Hor Fun, and Satay. The newly opened family-friendly and quick semi-service restaurant provides value-for-money meals that will appeal to all taste buds, be it choosing from the ala carte menu or indulging in the buffet spread.
