SINGAPORE – Taiwanese model-actress Sonia Sui (隋棠) will be bringing her charity fan meet to Singapore. Fans attending the fan meet would not only have the chance to see Sonia up close for free, but at the same time, they would be playing a part in doing charity. For each person who attends the fan meet, she will be donating SGD50 to a charity organisation.
Best known for her roles in Taiwan dramas 犀利人妻 and 愛的生存之道, 隋棠 is a model turned actress who not only has a pretty face, but also a beautiful heart. Over the years, 隋棠has been actively playing a part in doing charity and giving back to society, and has been coined the ambassador for many charity events within and outside of Taiwan. Earlier in July this year, she had just visited Singapore for the public screening of 12夜, a documentary which encourages people to adopt dogs and not abandon them.
She takes the act of charity a step further by encouraging her fans to join her in giving back to society. During her birthday in the past few years, she would hold a charity birthday fan meet in Taiwan and through these fan meets, she encourages her fans to join her in doing charity. This year, her charity birthday party, 隋棠棠慈善生日會, took place on 18 October and all proceedings were donated to a charity organization. She will be bringing this charity fan meet overseas and the Singapore fan meet will take place on 16 November 2014.

Price: Free (To encourage people to do charity together, 隋棠 will be donating SGD50 (NTD1200) to a charity organization for every person who turns up)
