Timberland and street wear brand, 10.Deep, have collaborated, for the third time, to create a limited release of Timberland’s 7-Eye Chukka Boots, named “The Duck Hunt”, to celebrate 10.Deep’s 15th anniversary.
Driven by the same energy that generated many of New York City’s sub cultural movements over the past decades, 10.Deep was started in 1995 by Scott Sasso with the desire to create clothing that reflected the city’s mix of skate, hip hop, art, social consciousness, and youth fashion culture of that time. The name 10.Deep – a reference to the ten fingers of an individual’s hands – is derived from the notion of strength through independence. 10.Deep is known for its progressive design and quality products that connect NYC’s proto-street style in the early 90s with the modern street style of today.
Inspired by “The Mighty Ducks,” a 2010 collaboration between Timberland and 10.Deep, the new “Duck Hunt” reworks Timberland’s classic 7-Eye Hand sewn Lugged Chukka Boots, adding brown hairy suede construction alongside duck camo quarter panels made by 100% recycled PET ReCanvas™ fabric. The hand-sewn construction and the rawhide leather laces reflect Timberland’s heritage, quality and authenticity, while the reflective orange 3M tongue manifests 10.Deep’s contemporary street style.
The Timberland x 10.Deep “The Duck Hunt” 7-Eye Chukka Boots, priced at SGD339.00, will be available exclusively at Timberland Raffles City in Singapore at an extremely limited quantity from January 12, 2016.
