Super Junior at Super Show 6: 10 Years On & Forever!

TG_252024 May 2015, Singapore – Popular K-Pop boy band Super Junior was finally back in Singapore after 2 years as their last Super Show (Super Show 5) was in 2013. This time, they came back with more hit songs with the return of members Leeteuk and Kangin who recently completed their military duties.

The concert started with one of their earlier songs, “Twins” followed by “Bonamana” and “Sorry Sorry” with a special segment of Kim Heechul appearing on an elevated stage playing the drums. After performing another 2 songs, “She Wants It” and “Midnight Blues”, the boys came back on stage to greet the fans.

The members tried their best to talk to the fans in both Mandarin and English which made the fans laugh and cringe because of their cuteness! The boys also expressed their affections to the fans, telling them they miss Singapore so much and as it has been a long time since they last came over!

Just like previous Super Shows, the members have solo segments, starting with Kyuhyun and his self-composed song, “My Thoughts, Your Memories”, and recent solo debut song “At Gwanghwamun” that was sung in Mandarin!
Kang In appeared at the corner of the stage with his mini live band as he sang “Heartbroken”,
Ryeowook appeared on the stage as he sang Jay Chou‘s “Qi Li Xiang
Siwon sang “Lost Stars” accompanied by an acoustic guitarist.
Super Junior leader, Leeteuk also performed a touching song “Hello” originally by Huh Gak.

A touching VCR of Shin Dong singing “Don’t Forget” by Baek Ji Young was played, many fans teared as he is currently not present due to military service.

Henry and Zhoumi expressed their thanks to the fans as they are also delighted to be here in Singapore again. Henry said it was very convenient to be in Singapore because they are able to speak in Mandarin!

Henry and Zhoumi also got the chance to perform their solo songs, “Fantastic” and “Rewind” respectively. Henry even performed a small violin segment as he danced to “Smooth Criminal”.

Super Junior sub-unit D&E (Donghae and Eunhyuk) also performed their comeback hit songs, “Growing Pains” and “1+1 = Love” which got the fans grooving together with them!

The whole concert then transformed into a icy princess concept as 8 Elsas appeared together with Henry as Olaf for a Frozen contest! It was rather amusing to see 8 manly men dressed in Elsa’s princess outfits, as they strode all around the stage, waving to fans!

Super Junior performed a total of 30 songs, including classic songs from their earlier albums such as “Rokkugo”, “Twins” to their popular hit songs, “Mr Simple”, “Shirt”, “Mamacita”.

Right before the end of Super Show 6, Super Junior members bid goodbyes and sent their last messages to the fans, hoping to see them again in Super Show 7!

Donghae: “My wish is to have Super Show 7 with the Singapore fans and it will come true in the future!”
Kyuhyun: “Your attitude touched my heart, I will sing better when I see you guys next time!”
Siwon: “Promise us one thing, don’t change your heart! We will always be here for you!”
