SMTown Gathering Dance Cover Performers

16 September 2012, Jakarta - Fanchants and cheers came across the room as fans show their support for their favourite “idols”. It was not SM Town Jakarta, not yet. It was the SMTown Gathering Indonesia, a show made by fans for the fans just before the real thing happens. The gathering was held by @SMGathering_INA in the spirit of togetherness and the unification of all SM Entertainment fanbases.

It was 1 in the afternoon when Maspion Plaza Jakarta was filled with SMTown fans. The SMTown Gathering featured performances by various SMTown artistes cover dancers, which included R.A (BoA Cover), XQuizite (CSJH Cover), KIDOSHINKI (DBSK Cover), ZUZU (Super Junior Cover), NamHanA (Super Junior KRY Cover), SOICD (Girls’ Generation Cover), SUNSHINee (SHINee Cover), F(x)plosion (f(x) Cover), and Exotik (EXO Cover).

The show started with an epic and nostalgic CSJH The Grace cover by XQuizite and warmed up by a cute f(x) cover by f(x)plosion.  Shawol went crazy when SunShinee took over the stage and perform SHINee’s top hits. The show continued with a BoA cover by R.A, and followed by an EXO cover, which sent all the fangirls into a frenzy.

The atmosphere got heated up further with performaces from SOICD and ZUZU and the others who delivered stunning performances throughout.

The dance cover groups not only performed the idols’ hit songs, but also special performances such as Jessica and Krystal’s California Girls performed by representatives of SOICD and f(x)plosion. There was also a “Way Back into Love” performance by NamHaNa’s “Kyuhyun” with SOICD’s “Seohyun”. Lady HeeHee and Beyonce Shindong also rocked the stage with their comical performance.

During this gathering, an SMTown Live World Tour III in Jakarta concert ticket was given to a lucky fan along with a lot of goodies. The almost 5 hours show draws its curtains to a close with a mass “Gangnam Style” dance with all the fans present. The fans also took the opportunity to take pictures with the dance cover groups after the show, as if the actual idols were present.
