As 7:00 p.m. drew closer and after waiting in line and inside the venue, the atmosphere had shifted from anticipation, to pure adrenaline the minute the music started.
Kara was next to perform and they started with “Pandora” followed by their lively dance track “Step”, They also sang their hit songs such as “Lupin” and “Mister.” Kara’s Nicole also mentioned that her family was in attendance at the concert.
BEAST started their turn with two of their most popular songs “Shock” and “Fiction.” It was really fun to see that a good majority of the audience was standing up and throwing their hands up in the air to “Shock!” along with the guys. After, BEAST’s maknae Son Dongwoon even talked in english and said, “Its been three years since we last visited here right? Did you miss BEAST? I can’t hear you? Did you miss BEAST?” The audience was full of screams and excitement as he asked the questions in english. He then responsed and said “We really miss you guys in LA too. Lets have fun tonight! Alright?” Ending on a happier note, they completed their set with “Beautiful” and their latest single “Beautiful Night”. This was a really fun song as they were trying their best to interact with crowd and create more audience participation, they ran around the stage and pointed at the crowd to sing along.
The fiersome foursome ladies of 2NE1 was next and started with their debut hit “Fire” followed by “Can’t Nobody”, “I am the Best”, and “I Love You”. All four songs were very solid performances that showcased their vocal and dancing abilities very well.
Performing last for the night was Girl’s Generation, their entrance had one of the loudest cheers all night. Starting out with “Genie” , they also performed “Mr. Taxi”, “Run Devil Run”, and the “The Boys”. It was great to see all nine girls of Girls’ Generation perform together in the States once again.
