The international singer Psy has decided on appearing in MBC’s K-pop Festival.
The event is scheduled to be held at the MBC Dream Center in Ilsan and Imjingak Pyeonhwa Nuri Park, and a representative of MBC reported on December 29 that Psy has made a firm decision to be a part of it.
If it were not the producer Min Chul Ki’s personal connection with Psy, it would not have happened. Min was in charge of Psy’s concert in November.
The K-pop Festival is to cover the activities of Psy’s “Gangnam Style” so far by inviting some American stars from Las Vegas. Also, the global big run of “Gangnam Style” which has been produced for a year will be finally revealed along with the flash mob of Psy with 20,000 people in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
In the meantime, the 2012 MBC K-pop Festival will also feature spectacular performances by Big Bang, 2NE1, Epik High, TVXQ, Super Junior, B2ST, Kara, SHINee, Sistar, Secret, FT Island, CNBlue, 2AM, Park Jin Young, Son Dam Bi, K.Will, Miss A, and Ga In and it will broadcast on December 31 at 8:50 p.m.
